Life is
Life is a gift.
It is not meant to be measured or explained but rather experienced.
How are you experiencing life right now?
An outside in life? Where you have to go chasing everything to get what you want and need? Searching for fulfillment and satisfaction in empty things that don’t really fill or satisfy, only to still feel void of what we actually need and want.
The outside in life will keep you on the hamster wheel of going in circles, never progressing forward. It will wear you out and feel like you’re running for survival.
What thoughts keep you stuck on the hamster wheel? Fear, worry, doubt, lack of… you name it.
The inside out life is altogether a different experience of life. This way of living is setting out to give yourself permission to accept what you already have. What gifts, talents, strengths, and even weaknesses are working for you and from you?
This is abundant living. Where you are already loved, chosen, accepted. Chosen to experience love and acceptance, not having to earn or deserve it. What if this kindness and compassion we extend to ourselves, given to us by our Creator, is the greatest gift of all. To know and already be filled with all you need to flourish, to thrive in your own life. You are the miracle God created. He made a way for his life, eternal life, to walk with you through this experience of life.
What if you were to believe this?
This inside out life keeps us focused on where we are going and how we are going to get there. How we can experience life through the lens of running our own race and not compare our experiences to another’s but rather delight and celebrate, share and grieve, love and behold each other as we live and move and have our being with each other.
Comparison and competition can steal our joy. I call it the comparison trap. You and I are made on purpose, in love and for a purpose, to love. It is only to be surrendered to. It is not something we need to chase after, it chases us. We get to believe and receive it. The fullness of joy will come and flood our being with love as you and I surrender to this amazing miracle that God has created. YOU.
Let’s choose life today, the one of a kind life that is waiting for us to experience!
With you and love you!
